Investigate Republican Complicity in Trump's Corruption

Investigate the Republican members of Congress who have surrendered their oversight authority and enabled this administration's corruption. For nearly two years, congressional Republicans voted in lockstep with President Trump, handing away their tariff powers, their power of the purse, and their war powers authority. That is not loyalty to constituents. That is an abdication of constitutional duty. The costs are not abstract. Trump shrugged off soaring grocery and gas prices while spending taxpayer money on a personal ballroom and plastering his name on public buildings. His approval rating has sunk into the mid-30s, with some polls approaching the 20s. Congressional Republicans enabled every step of this, and they should answer for it. The voters are watching. In 2006, Republicans lost 31 House seats and 6 Senate seats after tying themselves to an unpopular president. The pattern is repeating, and it should.
