An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Pass Campaign Finance Reform to End Corporate Dark Money in Elections

118 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!

Vote yes on campaign finance reform and end corporate dark money in our elections. Corporations are not people, and they should not be allowed to pour unlimited, anonymous cash into our democracy. Every dollar of undisclosed corporate spending drowns out the voices of actual voters like me. Since Citizens United, outside spending has exploded, with hundreds of millions in dark money flowing into federal elections from corporations and special interests that face zero accountability. That money buys influence, and everyone in Washington knows it. Real people have to disclose our donations. Corporations should too. This is a straightforward question of whether elections belong to voters or to corporate balance sheets. I expect you to stand on the right side of it and vote yes.
