Impeach Pete Hegseth. A man who paid $50,000 to silence a woman and avoid rape charges has no business leading the Pentagon or the men and women who serve under him.
The offenses are specific and serious. Hegseth discriminated against Black and female officers on promotion lists. He fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs without cause. He gathered every general officer in a single public location, broadcasting the time and place to anyone who wanted to target the top of our military command. Six soldiers died at an undefended base in Kuwait on the first night of the war with Iran, and he bears responsibility for that failure of force protection. He has held Christian religious services inside the Pentagon during duty hours, pressuring service members to attend, in plain violation of the First Amendment.
These are not policy disagreements. They are impeachable offenses. The honor of every soldier, sailor, airperson, and Marine who serves under this man demands action. Vote to impeach Pete Hegseth and make it the first order of business in the new Congress.
