An open letter to the U.S. House of Representatives

Major ISPs committed fraud in net neutrality scheme

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

According to New York Attorney General Letitia James’ report “How U.S. Companies & Partisans Hack Democracy to Undermine Your Voice”, major broadband companies used real people’s names without their consent when they funded 8.5 million comments opposing net neutrality. That’s fraud. Any individual citizen who would commit fraud like that would end up in prison. I urge you to push for the same punishment of any individual found responsible for this. Citizens United gave companies the same rights as people, so therefore they should face the same punishment as any ordinary citizen. The push to dismantle net neutrality was hijacked by ISPs and needs to be reversed. Ajit Pai needs to be investigated for his possible knowledge of these fake comments and if it’s proven he knew about this, he should face prison as well. The law is the law! Let’s stop treating people in positions of power differently from ordinary citizens! This corruption will continue until companies and individuals are actually held responsible for their crimes!
