I am writing to urge you to initiate a formal congressional investigation into President Trump's financial dealings with Guren "Bobby" Zhou and his $100 million investment in World Liberty Financial, the President's cryptocurrency venture. The circumstances surrounding this transaction raise serious constitutional and ethical concerns. Mr. Zhou has a documented history of financial fraud, failed business ventures, and is currently under active investigation in Britain for money laundering since 2021. Despite these red flags, he mysteriously acquired $100 million and funneled it through a shell company called Aqua 1 directly to the Trump family's crypto business. Approximately $75 million of this sum was distributed to entities controlled by the President and his three sons. This arrangement appears to violate the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, which prohibits the President from accepting gifts or payments from foreign sources without congressional consent. Regardless of Mr. Zhou's current citizenship status, the source and nature of his funds remain unexplained.
