I am writing to express my concerns regarding the ongoing spectacle surrounding the public feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump. While both individuals play significant legal and illegal roles in their respective fields, the constant media coverage and debate surrounding their interactions only serve to distract from the pressing issues facing our nation. What might those issues be? Let's start with::
- DJT is threatening to ignore Habeas Corpus.
- DJT and family are selling their personal bitcoin for obscene personal profit
- Defunding government agencies, impounding or misusing government Congressional funds
- Targeting the media and judges as he weaponizes the Department of Justice
- Targeting US citizens for deportations to foreign countries, allowing federal agents to search people’s private communications.
- Pardoning domestic terrorists
I could go on because there’s much more. The bottom line is that he has openly stated he doesn’t know if he must follow the Constitution, which he has made clear with his unlawful actions.
Now, we must helplessly watch him publicly mock our country by childish fighting with Elon Musk.
I say helplessly because we American citizens have been begging the Republican party to stand up and do something about what is happening to us. They have the power and have abdicated that power at every opportunity. We, the citizenry, have done our job; this may be what it will take to get you to do yours.
As members of Congress, your focus should be on policymaking and addressing the needs of your constituents rather than engaging in the circus of celebrity disputes. We must prioritize the serious matters affecting our economy, healthcare, and national security over sensational headlines.
