Block Increase for ICE and Mass Deportation in the "One Big Beautiful Bill" Act

I demand my representatives vote against any budget plan that increases ICE funding. Providing more resources to ICE would enable the Trump administration's unlawful, militarized detention and deportation activities that violate constitutional rights and due process. The proposed $155.2 billion increase for immigration enforcement in H.R. 1 is unacceptable and dangerous. It includes $45 billion for new detention facilities, $27 billion to hire thousands more ICE officers to arrest and deport immigrants without due process, $5 billion for military deployment at the border, $51.6 billion for border wall construction, and $12 billion for states like Texas to pursue anti-immigrant policies. This massive expansion of funds would supercharge Trump's cruel and unconstitutional attack on immigrant communities. We must uphold safety, human rights, and due process for every single person in the United States by rejecting this draconian proposal. I urge you to vote no on any budget that increases ICE's capabilities for detention and deportation without due process.
