An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Save the Department of Labor's Job Corps Program

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The Job Corps program provides essential job training and support services to thousands of vulnerable young adults across the country. By offering career development, housing assistance, and other critical resources, Job Corps helps at-risk youth gain skills and increase their employment prospects and lifetime earnings. Gutting this vital program would devastate opportunities for these young people to build brighter futures. Congress must act to preserve and fully fund the Job Corps initiative. Allowing the administration to abruptly shutter Job Corps centers would be an inexcusable disservice to our nation's youth in need. Robust career training programs like Job Corps are investments in developing our workforce and supporting upward economic mobility for all Americans.
