An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Hold Trump Accountable for Broken Campaign Promises

502 so far! Help us get to 1,000 signers!

Stop pretending Trump's campaign promises deserve serious consideration. At a rally in Vandalia, Ohio, he pledged — again — to pass sweeping immigration legislation and a "truly great healthcare plan." He's been making those exact same promises since 2016, and he delivered on none of them, even while his party held majorities in both the House and the Senate. This isn't a policy disagreement. It's a documented pattern of fraud. Trump promised Atlantic City investors riches back in 1984 too. We know how that ended. The people who believed him lost everything. Voters are being asked to fall for the same con, word for word, rally for rally, decade after decade. Your constituents deserve a representative who calls this out plainly. Don't normalize these promises by treating them as legitimate policy positions. They are not. They are the recycled patter of someone who has never once followed through, and your silence on that record makes you complicit in the deception.
