Demand Accountability for the USS Abraham Lincoln Crisis
101 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!
The sailors and Marines on the USS Abraham Lincoln have been at sea for over nine months without a port call. Sailors are attempting suicide by jumping overboard. Families are reporting missed meals, rotten food, broken toilets, mold in living quarters, and shortages of basic necessities like soap and sanitary products. This is not a supply chain problem. This is a leadership failure that runs straight to the top.
Congress needs to act. Hold hearings. Demand answers from the Pentagon about how a carrier strike group of 5,000 people was left in these conditions during an active war. The president fired experienced generals and admirals and replaced them with loyalists. That decision has consequences, and right now those consequences are being paid by people who signed up to serve this country.
The commander in chief is focused on gold leaf in the White House and enriching his family through drone tariffs that benefit his sons' investments. Meanwhile, service members are going hungry. That is the clarifying fact here. Demand accountability now, before more sailors are harmed.
