I am writing to inform you about my concern regarding the President's recent decision to rescind the security coverage for Dr. Fauci, Mike Pompeo, Michael Bolton, and other former officials who have faithfully served our country.
On the face of it, the President is acting rashly and vindictively. Is this the standard our leaders aspire to? This sends a message to our fellow Americans that it is unsafe to voice an opinion contrary to the President's. Is that who we are now? Knowingly putting lives at risk is how a responsible President acts?
I am asking you to stand up against these unnecessary bullying tactics by the President.
Do the right thing. Speak up. As your constituent, I expect you to do what is best for me and the country.
