Gig workers, freelance professionals, and even traditional employees in fields like education, healthcare, trucking, and media could lose hard-fought rights with the stroke of a pen. At a time when working families are already struggling with inflation and skyrocketing living costs, Congress should be strengthening labor protections—not dismantling them.
