Clear-Cutting America: How Dare You Let This Happen?l

What kind of government actively destroys its own land? Trump’s executive order to allow mass logging on 280 million acres of national forests isn’t just bad policy—it’s an act of environmental vandalism that serves no one but corporate interests and his own fragile ego.
This isn’t about “forest management” or economic growth. This is greed, corruption, and stupidity rolled into one disastrous policy.
• Slashing forests means more deadly wildfires. Experts have said it for decades—cutting down trees doesn’t prevent fires, it makes them worse.
• Entire ecosystems will collapse. Once old-growth forests are gone, they’re gone forever.
• Drinking water will be contaminated. These forests filter water for millions of people—what’s the plan when our rivers are full of sludge?
• Climate change will accelerate. Forests absorb carbon. Destroying them speeds up the climate crisis. If this administration even pretended to care about the future, this wouldn’t be on the table.
This is deliberate, irreversible destruction, and for what? To let logging companies make a quick buck? To erase every environmental protection that came before, just out of spite? It’s pathetic.
Congress must act now to stop this lunacy. If you let this happen, you’re complicit in the destruction of America’s most vital natural resources. Future generations won’t remember “economic growth,” but they will remember who stood by and let our forests be clear-cut into oblivion.
Do the right thing and don’t do this. Before there’s nothing left to save.
