This bill would slash Medicaid funding and impose harsh new work requirements, restrict Medicare eligibility while raising costs for dual enrollees, triple funding for ICE's mass deportation operations, and authorize the sale of public lands to private interests and fossil fuel companies. It would gut clean energy incentives, climate protections, and SNAP benefits while expanding draconian work requirements. The bill also threatens constitutional rights by limiting courts' ability to issue injunctions, defunds the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, eliminates taxes on gun silencers, and diverts public school funding to a national private school voucher program.
