An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Support LGBTQ+ Rights with the Equality Act

10 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

The LGBTQ+ community continues to endure discrimination in employment, housing, and daily life. To combat this systemic injustice, comprehensive civil rights protections at the federal level are imperative. The Equality Act would prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, securing fundamental rights for this marginalized group. By updating existing legislation like the Civil Rights Act of 1964, LGBTQ+ individuals will finally receive legal safeguards against unfair treatment across all sectors of society. As a nation that values equality, we have an obligation to enshrine these protections into law and ensure every citizen can live authentically without fear of prejudice or violence. I urge you to support the Equality Act and stand on the right side of history in this struggle for LGBTQ+ rights.
