Reject Trump's Unconstitutional Attack on Birthright Citizenship

The Supreme Court must strike down President Trump's executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship. This order is a blatant violation of the 14th Amendment, which clearly states that "all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens." No president has the authority to unilaterally redefine citizenship through executive action, regardless of their personal views on immigration.
This isn't just about constitutional text. Federal law passed in the 20th century mirrors the 14th Amendment's birthright citizenship provision, giving the Court multiple legal grounds to rule against this overreach. Trump's own lawyers have cited arguments rooted in white supremacist ideology to justify stripping citizenship from babies born on American soil. That alone should disqualify this order from serious consideration.
The consequences of upholding this order would be catastrophic. Thousands of people would become stateless, with no country to call home. We would shift from a system based on constitutional law to one where citizenship depends on presidential whim. That's not what the founders intended when they wrote the Constitution, and it's not what the 14th Amendment guarantees. The Court must defend the Constitution and reject this authoritarian attempt to rewrite it.
