Trump's agenda is collapsing under its own weight — Senate Republicans missed his own June 1 deadline to fund ICE and DHS, the Senate passed a war powers resolution reining in his Iran war, and even Mitch McConnell called Acting AG Todd Blanche's $1.8 billion "Anti-Weaponization Fund" — a slush fund for convicted criminals who attacked the Capitol — "utterly stupid, morally wrong." Trump's political capital is spent. His endorsement of Ken Paxton over incumbent John Cornyn has Senate Republicans furious, his billion-dollar ballroom got killed by the Senate parliamentarian, and his approval numbers are tanking while inflation and gas prices climb.
