Oppose Trump’s $100 Million Military Parade — Support Impeachment Instead

At a time when millions of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, struggling with rising costs, job losses, slashed benefits, and housing insecurity, the idea that President Trump would waste $100 million of taxpayer money on a self-congratulatory military parade for his birthday is not only egregious — it’s obscene. This isn’t patriotism. It’s a display of authoritarian narcissism pulled straight from the dictator playbook, at the direct expense of American livelihoods. The people of this country are terrified: terrified of medical bankruptcy, of rising rents, of working into their 80s without hope of retirement — and now, of the dangerous precedent being set by this regime. We have children going hungry, veterans sleeping on the streets, seniors choosing between food and medication — and the President wants tanks rolling through Washington for his birthday? How dare he? And how dare Congress sit silently while it happens? Not only should this parade be immediately blocked, but every single member of Congress with a shred of integrity and respect for the American people should support the existing articles of impeachment. At minimum, impeachment proceedings must slow down the destruction being carried out. At best, they can stop the trajectory toward a full-blown autocracy. I urge you to act now — not tomorrow, not next month. Stop the parade. Stop the theft of taxpayer funds.
