An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Restore Temporary Protected Status for Haitian Immigrants

250 so far! Help us get to 500 signers!

Restore Temporary Protected Status for Haitian immigrants immediately. The Supreme Court has cleared the way for the Trump administration to strip TPS from roughly 1.3 million people — Haitians, Syrians, and others — who have built lives, paid taxes, and become essential members of our communities. That is not a policy disagreement. That is a humanitarian crisis manufactured by this administration. The panic this has caused is real and immediate. Nursing homes are losing caregivers. Families are being torn apart. These are people who came here legally under a program designed for exactly this kind of situation. Ripping that protection away doesn't make America safer — it just makes it crueler. I need you to use every legislative tool available to defend TPS and push back on this administration's deliberate campaign to displace vulnerable people who have done nothing wrong.
