Because I love my country and am willing to fight for it, I implore you to uphold your obligations and protect our government and freedom. What the President and his sidekick, Elon Musk, are doing benefits no one, is damaging our government, hurts all of us, and is predicated on vengeance, negligence, and greed. This must stop.
As in the last term of this president, he likes to drop shocking and dangerously bad news on weekends. Purging top leadership of the military is yet another blatant step toward authoritarianism and is unconstitutional. We all see what he is doing and are shocked that you have not stood up to stop it.
This administration now has control of the House, The Senate, The Supreme Court, the Judiciary, and now the military. He intends to fire judge advocates general (JAG). We all know why. He couldn’t get away with issuing illegal orders and having them followed through during his last term, but he will make sure that doesn’t happen this time. He’s now paving the way for his illicit orders to work for him. This is a coup.
You have a responsibility to stand up to him. You swore an oath to the Constitution. The people of this state voted for you. You are abdicating your responsibility by not fighting for the country. This is your failure. You are failing the government and the people of your state, and we all know it.
