Urge Congressional Action on Presidential Conduct and National Security Threats

I am writing to express urgent concern about the current president's conduct, which poses a direct threat to our national security and international standing. Recent actions demonstrate a pattern of behavior that demands congressional oversight and intervention.
The president recently told Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas that "The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland," explicitly linking this demand to his grievance about not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize despite claiming he "stopped 8 Wars PLUS." This exchange reveals decision-making driven by personal grandiosity rather than strategic national interest. He has simultaneously imposed tariffs on European allies, undermined NATO commitments, and reportedly extorted Maria Corina Machado's Nobel Peace Prize medal.
These actions represent more than policy disagreements. They reflect a dangerous pattern where personal ego supersedes America's sacred international commitments and alliances that have secured peace for decades. Our European allies are now forced to manage what can only be described as a diplomatic disaster, while Americans face three more years of erratic leadership that damages our credibility and security.
I understand that constitutional remedies like impeachment or the 25th Amendment face insurmountable political obstacles requiring two-thirds congressional votes. However, Congress retains significant oversight powers, budgetary authority, and the ability to constrain executive action through legislation. You can demand transparency, hold hearings on these incidents, restrict funding for actions that undermine our alliances, and pass resolutions reaffirming America's commitment to NATO and international law.
I urge you to use every tool available to provide meaningful oversight and constraint on presidential conduct that threatens our national security. The next 1,094 days will determine whether Congress fulfills its constitutional duty as a coequal branch of government. Our allies and our safety depend on your willingness to act.
