An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Emil Bove is an unfit nominee and should not be confirmed!

10 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Given the overwhelming opposition and laundry list of scandals surrounding Emil Bove's nomination, it is clear he is unfit for a lifetime appointment to the federal appellate bench. His documented history of unprofessional and abusive conduct as a prosecutor, compounded by credible whistleblower allegations that he endorsed ignoring court orders and misleading judges while at the Justice Department, raises grave concerns about his ability to serve impartially and uphold the rule of law. Furthermore, his refusal to denounce the January 6th insurrection and his failure to definitively rule out a potential third presidential term demonstrate a concerning disregard for constitutional principles. With over 900 former Justice Department lawyers and dozens of former judges urging his rejection, confirming Bove would severely undermine public trust in the integrity of the federal judiciary. In light of these disqualifying issues, I strongly urge you to vote against advancing this controversial and scandal-plagued nomination.
