General strike NOW

I believe it is time for you and the rest of the Democratic Party to call for a nationwide general strike. Trump and the Republicans are flouting the law at every turn, dismantling government agencies, passing through a bill that is deeply unpopular, and they are continuing their illegal detention and deportation of immigrants. This is traitorous activity. This is a coup by far right radicals that seek to trample over the constitution. The only recourse we Americans have is a massive strike to demand change. Small groups have been calling for a nationwide strike but we need the backing of a major party. We need organization and leadership to help bring as many people on board as possible. I urge you to begin the conversation within the party. Call for a general strike. We need to fight back before it is too late; before this administration turns the country into more of a totalitarian police state.
