Defend Election Integrity: Condemn Federal Seizure of State Voter Records

Publicly condemn the DOJ's unlawful seizure of state voter records and the Trump administration's unconstitutional push to nationalize our elections. These aren't abstract threats — the FBI raided Fulton County, Georgia's election headquarters and seized ballots, voter rolls, and digital data. The DOJ has sued more than 20 states for refusing to hand over voter files that federal law explicitly bars the DOJ from accessing directly. This goes beyond overreach. AG Pam Bondi threatened to pull ICE out of Minnesota unless Governor Walz surrendered sensitive voter registration data. Trump signed executive orders banning mail-in voting and mandating proof of citizenship at registration — federal courts have already struck down parts of these orders for exceeding executive authority. A secret national citizenship database is now being used to screen voters, with zero transparency about how that data is used or who it could exclude. State-run elections are a constitutional cornerstone. What's happening right now is a coordinated attempt to seize control of systems the federal government has no legal right to control.
