Support the Anti-Corruption Bureau legislation introduced by Senators Schumer and Padilla, and commit to aggressive oversight of Trump administration profiteering. This isn't abstract — the Trump family has accumulated an estimated $5 billion in profits during this term alone, including $2.25 billion from digital assets and $61 million in foreign licensing deals. Taxpayers are simultaneously footing $1.8 billion for Trump's vanity construction projects, including up to $800 million for a White House ballroom whose donors have since received $50 billion in federal contracts. That's not coincidence. That's a transaction.
The Wall Street Journal reported on July 30 that Trump personally tracks how much companies donate before deciding how to treat them. His sons' investment firm, 1789 Capital, has made suspiciously well-timed trades in companies that then received billions in Pentagon contracts. Trump pardoned a convicted Chinese money launderer who then invested $2 billion in the family's crypto platform. He told the New York Times he keeps dealing because "nobody cared." Prove him wrong. Co-sponsor the Anti-Corruption Bureau bill and use every oversight tool available to investigate this administration before it becomes the permanent template for how power works in this country.
