Cease military aid enabling Israeli human rights violations.

To: Sen. Murphy, Pres. Biden, Rep. Courtney, Sen. Blumenthal

From: A constituent in East Hampton, CT

May 9

The US State Department has determined that certain Israeli army units intentionally violated human rights, which is unacceptable. As a democratic nation that upholds human rights, the United States has a moral obligation to cease providing military aid to Israel until concrete steps are taken to address these violations and uphold international laws. Jewish advocacy groups have also called for an end to US complicity in enabling such abuses. For lasting peace and justice, military support enabling human rights violations must cease. This stance aligns with American values and the pursuit of human rights globally.
