Rep. Casar, and Rep. Taylor agree that food sitting in warehouses across the world, halted by DODG, and already paid for and shipped- must be distributed to starving communities that WE THE PEOPLE have paid for. Food and medicine that WE THE PEOPLE want to continue to be used to feed the needy and stabilize our planet. USAID was in its broadest reach a stabilizing force of good that kept American farmers from having wasted production, and global communities from migration. Please, we must open these warehouses. We must resume our work. We must do what is right and just for both our country and our global siblings. Now is the time to be bold. How is the time to speak louder than the lies and silenced voices of the needy.
