I strongly oppose the proposal to lift sanctions on Russia. Such a move would be a betrayal of democratic values and a capitulation to Putin's aggression against Ukraine. As an American citizen, I urge you to reject any deal to lift sanctions on Russia until they fully withdraw from Ukraine and make reparations for the devastation caused. Standing firm against Russia's blatant violations of international law is crucial for upholding principles of sovereignty and human rights. Lifting sanctions now would be unconscionable appeasement of a rogue regime.
