Demand R-TN Rep Green step down for undisclosed, conflicting private-sector job

To: Sen. Warren, Rep. Trahan, Sen. Markey

From: A verified voter in Lowell, MA

June 11

Congressman Green's decision to accept a lucrative private sector job while retaining his congressional seat indefinitely is an egregious ethical breach that undermines public trust in government. His refusal to disclose his new employer raises serious conflict of interest concerns as he prepares to cast a pivotal vote on legislation that could benefit his undisclosed corporate interests over constituents.   Green's disturbing history of inflammatory rhetoric denigrating marginalized groups and promoting baseless conspiracy theories further disqualifies him from serving. His alleged marital infidelity and intent to abandon his family exemplify a lack of integrity and moral fiber.   Green's continued presence in Congress is untenable. I demand that my representatives take immediate action to compel full transparency regarding Green's employment and insist on his resignation to preserve even a modicum of ethics in this critical legislative process impacting all Americans. His corrupt self- interest and reprehensible conduct are disqualifying.
