No war on Venezuela

To: Rep. Mrvan, Sen. Young, Pres. Trump, Sen. Banks

From: A verified voter in Valparaiso, IN

December 17

I am writing today as a resident of Indiana to say… I do not want war with Venezuela. The evidence shown to date leaves very little proof these are dangerous drug boats. The evidence also doesn’t support that the majority of drugs come from Venezuelan boats. It is not clear to me nor to many others exactly why we are killing these people with no due process. I do not want an escalation. I don’t know anyone in Indiana that wants more fishing boats blown out of the water. I don’t know anyone, Democrat or Republican, who wants a land invasion or bombing of any country. Congress has the power to declare war. They should use it or not, and the President should follow their decision and not start an unnecessary and unfounded war.
