Senator Ossoff's quoted words recently appeared in a Facebook post as follows: "This is the cruelest and most arrogant group of people who ever ascended to high office - their cruelty and arrogance are only matched by their incompetence." As someone who worked under a Federal oath to defend our Constitution from threats, I feel I must add something to Senator Ossoff's words: Not only they of whom he speaks, but those who deliberately manipulated them into high office, constitute a domestic threat, made not one whit less so because they were the operators of the engines of "politics as usual" and "business as usual." And shamefully, we still have to bow to such entities in matters of "electability." It is time for the swindle to end. It is time for the wholesale purchase of our government, made possible by Citizens United, but, more directly, by the greedy and manipulative forces behind that purchased SCOTUS decision, to end. It is time - nay, it is imperative - for you to obey your Federal oaths, Congress.
