The Trump administration continues on its path to destroying everything. Its latest decision approves a highway corridor running through Utah’s Red Cliffs National Conservation Area after the Bureau of Land Management reversed a 2024 ruling that had denied the route. The prior plan instead focused on upgrading an existing road outside the conservation area and away from protected Mojave Desert tortoise habitat. With the new approval, the Fish and Wildlife Service signed off on actions that could harm, kill, or disturb the federally threatened tortoises as part of granting the right of way for a proposed four-lane highway across the conservation area. Please stop this from happening.
