As a respected journalist dedicated to showing the truth, Wafa courageously reported from the frontlines of the Great March of Return protests, bearing witness to the struggles and resilience of her people. Her death, along with her husband and two children, is a profound loss for press freedom and human rights. Such indiscriminate attacks on civilians and the targeting of journalists are inexcusable violations of human rights and international law.
