Stop the ending of Medicare Part D

To: Sen. Warnock, Sen. Ossoff, Rep. Jack

From: A verified voter in Columbus, GA

July 30

I am retired and my stepdaughter is disabled. She is autistic and experiences seizures and must take very expensive medications. I am devastated that the Trump administration is ending the Medicare Part D subsidy program that helped hold down premiums for Medicare drug plans. We are just one family but roughly 25 million people have Part D plans, and they need the help those subsidies provide. We are living through an affordability crisis the likes of which we’ve never seen, and the disabled and seniors are getting hit hardest of all. From the shuttering of nursing homes, to skyrocketing housing costs, to Trump’s Medicaid and SNAP cuts, to higher grocery prices, to DOGE’s Social Security cuts and more, seniors are essentially under attack by this administration. These Plan D subsidy cuts are another cruel blow. They must be reversed at once. Please do all you can to pressure the administration to change course.
