Please — I Am Begging You to Act

To: Sen. Markey, Sen. Warren, Rep. Moulton

From: A verified voter in Gloucester, MA

April 7

I am begging you. Please act now to stop this from becoming a nuclear war. I am not writing to make a political point. I am writing because I am scared — for my family, for this country, for the world. And I need to know that you are doing something. Please, right now: — Demand an emergency Congressional vote before any further military action against Iran — Call the President directly and tell him nuclear weapons are off the table — Introduce or co-sponsor legislation blocking nuclear first use immediately — Go on record, publicly, today — not in a statement, but in action I vote. I am watching. But more than that — I am a person who does not want to see the world end on your watch or mine. You have power I do not have. Please use it. Today. Not next week. I am asking you as a human being: please do not let this happen.
