What the president has done these first 10 days of April is stock market manipulation. It is disgusting. And idiotic. 99.5 % of economists believe the proposed tariffs are nothing short of insanity! No educated person supports this. The US has evolved to a service economy… where we do things like write computer programs and develop technology…. Not screw screws into cell phones. Tariffs will never achieve what you are claiming, President Trump and Senator Banks. Only backwards thinkers and backwards leaders believe in anything remotely like what you are proposing and then pausing and who knows what next… will work. This will go down in the history books as the dumbest economic leadership of an advanced economy… every in modern history
