U.S. citizen wrongfully imprisoned in El Salvador, immediate action needed

To: Sen. Fetterman, Pres. Trump, Rep. Kelly, Sen. McCormick

From: A verified voter in Hermitage, PA

April 16

It is a grave violation of due process and human rights that a U.S. citizen, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, remains wrongfully imprisoned in El Salvador after being mistakenly deported by the Trump administration. The U.S. government has acknowledged this "administrative error" but Mr. Abrego Garcia continues to be held without evidence of any crime at the notorious Terrorism Confinement Center. This unjust situation threatens the freedom and Constitutional protections of every American citizen. Immediate action must be taken to provide proof of life for Mr. Abrego Garcia, we must also be provided with proof of life, facilitate communication with his family, and secure his release and safe return to the United States. Failure to rectify this injustice puts all Americans at risk of being deprived of their liberty without due process based solely on government overreach or disfavored status.
