Contact your senators and representatives now. Here’s some text. . I am deeply alarmed by reports that Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been granted access to the U.S. Treasury’s payment system, which processes Social Security benefits, tax refunds, and other federal payments. This system contains sensitive personal data, potentially including my Social Security number. No private billionaire should have access to such information, especially without strict oversight and transparency. This is a serious privacy and national security risk. I urge you to demand an immediate investigation and take action to protect the personal data of all Americans. I cannot find any proof that Elon Musk or his staff have any security clearances which is terrifying that he has access to my data and everyone else’s. Please let me know what steps you are taking to address this urgent issue.
