To: Rep. Dean, Sen. Hughes, Lt. Gov. Patrick, Rep. Moran, Sen. Cruz, Sen. Cornyn, Gov. Abbott, Pres. Trump

December 15

At a time when Americans can not afford healthcare or to feed their families, mass shootings continue to claim lives and service members are dying in the line of duty, 47 is pursuing vanity projects at taxpayer expense. I am requesting a formal oversight investigation into federal expenditures and administrative actions related to presidential projects, including; White House ballroom and renovations. Proposed Independence Arch, the National Garden of American Heroes. All use of 47s name or likeness on federal materials such as the national parks pass and government signage. All administrative/legal costs associated with proposals to rename the Gulf of Mexico, All renaming of departments such as “Department of War.” Total costs of DOGE including lawsuits, separation packages, and any other costs associated with this failed project. Even if projects are partially privately funded, federal staff, security, legal, infrastructure, and maintenance resources have been used. I ask Congress to determine total public cost and compliance with appropriations, ethics, and oversight laws. “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
