Protect free inquiry, oppose gutting Museum and Library Services

To: Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz, Pres. Trump, Rep. Casar

From: A verified voter in Austin, TX

March 21

The intentional destruction and censorship of knowledge represented by gutting the Institute of Museum and Library Services poses a severe threat to free thought and open inquiry across America. This brazen assault on museums and libraries cannot be tolerated in a free society. Urgent action must be taken to prevent the irreparable harm this administration's reckless actions would inflict upon our nation's treasured cultural and educational institutions. We call upon all representatives to forcefully oppose this attack on the preservation and advancement of human knowledge.
