Condemn support for Russia's invasion, stand with Ukraine

To: Sen. Bennet, Pres. Trump, Sen. Hickenlooper, Rep. Pettersen

From: A verified voter in Lakewood, CO

February 25

It is deeply concerning that the United States has aligned itself with Russia by voting against the UN resolution condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This blatant disregard for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity is a shocking betrayal of our longstanding commitment to democracy and human rights. By siding with an authoritarian regime over our democratic allies, the US risks damaging its global standing and credibility. The United States must reconsider this misguided policy shift and reaffirm its support for Ukraine's right to self-determination and freedom from foreign aggression. Appeasing dictators and undermining international law sets a dangerous precedent that could embolden further acts of aggression worldwide. We urge the administration to reverse course, stand firmly with Ukraine, and uphold the principles of freedom, justice, and the rules-based international order that have maintained global peace and stability.
