I'm calling on you to support impeachment proceedings against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for his systematic purge of senior military leadership. His removal of Gen. Randy George as Army Chief of Staff is the latest in a pattern that threatens our national security. Hegseth has now fired or sidelined more than a dozen admirals and generals, including Gen. CQ Brown as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Adm. Lisa Franchetti as Chief of Naval Operations. Gen. George was nominated in 2023 and expected to serve until 2027. He was leading critical efforts to prepare the Army for large-scale conflicts against adversaries like China, investing in drone technology and long-range weapons systems. Cutting short his term undermines years of strategic planning. This isn't about one general. It's about a Defense Secretary who is gutting experienced military leadership and replacing it with loyalists. Gen. Christopher LaNeve, who previously served as Hegseth's senior military aide, now becomes acting chief of staff. That's not coincidence. Our military's strength depends on continuity and expertise, not political purges. Hegseth's actions warrant impeachment. I need you to act now before more damage is done to our defense readiness.
