After reading the president’s social media posts of the last several days, the only conclusion a reasonable person can draw is that the president is clearly non compos mentis. He has already illegally attacked Iran, and under his orders, our armed forces have committed at least three war crimes—bombing a school (deliberately targeting civilians), a “double-tap” attack on a bridge (deliberately targeting EMS workers/medical personnel), and refusing to rescue sailors rendered hors de combat after sinking their (unarmed) ship. His recent social media posts explicitly threaten more war crimes (attacks on civilian infrastructure like bridges and electrical power plants) and seem to implicitly threaten the use of nuclear weapons. The president has lost what little mind he had. He must be checked before he plunges the world into a global war. Without removing Trump from office and holding him accountable for his many crimes, the United States will never regain the respect of our former trading partners and allies and will rightly be treated with suspicion for generations to come.
