There is no evidence to support claims that Hamas or other Palestinian groups are diverting humanitarian aid intended for Gaza. David Satterfield, the US Special Envoy for Middle East Humanitarian Issues, has stated that no Israeli official has provided specific proof of aid being stolen. With the ongoing crisis and destruction in Gaza, an immediate ceasefire is crucial. The US should halt military aid to Israel and instead reinstate funding for UNRWA to provide much-needed relief and assistance to the Palestinian people.
