I'm writing to urge you to support significant changes to ICE and Border Patrol in the DHS funding bill. These lawless agencies are recklessly endangering the American public and must be reined in. The necessary changes I would like to see enacted include: - A zeroing out of ICE's appropriations funding - A repeal of H.R. 1's $170 billion slush fund for ICE and Border Patrol - Ensuring that this money is not reallocated to be used for similar work at different agencies I expect Congress to do their job to restrain the lawless behavior of ICE as permanently as possible.
