I urge you to take immediate action to denounce President Trump's white nationalist agenda, which has recently reached alarming new heights. His shocking comments about slavery being "sort of a choice" and his orders to whitewash historical narratives in our national institutions are deeply disturbing and demand a strong congressional response.   Trump's attempt to rewrite history through executive action, particularly his directive to sanitize exhibits at the Smithsonian and other historical museums, is a dangerous assault on truth and education. This blatant historical revisionism seeks to erase the painful realities of slavery and systemic racism from our national narrative. Furthermore, I ask that you introduce or support legislation to protect the integrity of our national museums and educational institutions from political interference aimed at distorting historical facts.   The stakes are too high to remain silent.
