What the hell, Republicans? Last night’s speech was incoherent and demoralizing. Americans know the reality at grocery stores and gas pumps: gas averages $2.90–$2.99, inflation is ~3%, and businesses are failing under tariffs. Americans are struggling for healthcare and Republicans proved yesterday that fear and political gamesmanship come first over their constituents. Meanwhile, we’ve been promised DOGE checks and tariff checks, while taxpayer money goes to plaques about past presidents, gold plates in the Oval Office, and declaring a ballroom national security. Citizens and legal residents are being arrested, and you allowed this man to strip the last ounce of sanity and respect from our government. Are we going to war with Venezuela? Is giving service members $1,776 supposed to earn loyalty to a government that doesn’t value them? Is that how much he values their lives? Was it supposed to build loyalty to a man accused of raping minors? Americans are not fools. The Republican Party looks like one. Act now. Restore accountability and protect our government and people.
