We saw what Acting Deputy Attorney General Joe Schmidt said on a hot mic — that all Republican names would be redacted from the Epstein files while leaving Democratic names visible. He can try to walk it back all he wants, but the intent is already clear: this government is once again protecting the powerful, even those tied to rape, abuse, and trafficking of minors.
Let me be absolutely direct: This is not your information to hide. These are not your secrets to keep. The survivors of Epstein Island are already making their own lists. The people are watching. And every redaction, every name you try to protect, is a betrayal that will only expose how deep the rot goes in your institutions. If the federal government continues this cover-up, it will shatter whatever sliver of trust the public still has left.
I am demanding the following:
1. The immediate, full release of the Epstein files in their entirety — with zero redactions, regardless of political affiliation.
2. A public explanation for Joe Schmidt’s statement — and his immediate removal from any post related to this investigation.
3. A congressional investigation into attempts to suppress or selectively edit the files.
You do not get to selectively redact child rape and call it justice. And no, we will not “move on.” Every single person on that list — no matter their party, wealth, position, or connections — should be in prison. That includes Donald Trump, the 34-time convicted felon currently occupying the White House, and every staffer and official helping him bury the truth. No one is above the law, and anyone shielding these monsters is complicit in their crimes.
