The president has taken egregious and unconstitutional actions that undermine our democracy. He has abused his pardon power, unlawfully fired government watchdogs and civil servants without cause, and stoked racial tensions with xenophobic rhetoric endangering immigrant communities. These transgressions violate his oath of office and are grounds for impeachment. We urge Congress to uphold their constitutional duty by launching an impeachment inquiry to fully investigate these abuses of power and hold the president accountable. Failing to act enables further deterioration of democratic norms and the rule of law.
