Keep Android Open

To: Sen. Duckworth, Sen. Durbin, Rep. Schakowsky

From: A constituent in Chicago, IL

March 19

I'm writing to urge you to speak out against the upcoming change to Android put forward by Google. The changes to their developer verification program that require all apps to be signed by developers registered with Google is anti-competitive, anti-consumer, and anti-innovation. They are moving to lock down an open ecosystem that benefits everyone in hopes of securing more profit for themselves. Please, do what you can to oppose this!
